About — Free draw
Why Free draw exists
Drawing shouldn't require software you don't own, an account you didn't ask for, or a skill level that gatekeeps the fun. Free draw puts a blank canvas, every colour on the wheel, and a generous set of pens in front of anyone who wants to doodle, sketch, or make something real — for free, right now, no signup needed.
We built it because the best drawing tools often feel like they're built for designers, not for people. You shouldn't need to learn layers, export formats, or licensing terms just to mess around with some colours. A pen is a pen. A canvas is a canvas. Everything else is distraction.
Kept simple on purpose
Simplicity isn't laziness — it's a choice we made every day. One canvas. A set of pens that feel good to use. A colour wheel that gives you every hue you might want. Straightforward ways to save your work to your device and share it if you feel like it. Nothing more.
No layers to manage. No toolbar hiding the thing you just drew. No pop-ups asking if you want to upgrade. The less between you and the blank page, the easier it is to actually start drawing. We cleared away everything that wasn't essential, and what's left is a tool that gets out of the way.
Your drawings are yours
We don't keep your drawings. We don't study them, analyse them, or show them to anyone. When you draw on Free draw, your work stays on your device unless you decide to save it elsewhere or share it to the gallery.
If you choose to share a drawing in the gallery, that's your call — and your drawing appears there with nothing hidden. No tracking. No fine print. If you'd rather keep it private, save it to your computer and that's the end of it. Free draw doesn't hold onto anything you make. Your canvas is yours.
